11. Service Description

CodirAI is an AI-powered decision support assistant, published by EvidencAI.

The Service is accessible via:

• A Chrome and Edge extension compatible with ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok and Le Chat
• A dedicated web application (in development, available Spring 2026)

CodirAI analyzes your exchanges with generative AIs to provide verifiable recommendations, confidence scores, and structured action plans through 15 virtual experts.

22. Acceptance of Terms

Use of the Service implies full acceptance of these Terms of Service. By creating an account or installing the Chrome or Edge extension, you acknowledge that you have read and accept these Terms without reservation. EvidencAI reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Users will be informed of any substantial changes by email and in-app notification at least thirty (30) days before such changes take effect.

33. Plans and Pricing

3.1 Available Plans

3.2 Credit System

Credits are consumed based on actions performed:

• Expert brief (question transformation): 1 credit
• Light analysis (up to 7 experts): 2 credits
• Full analysis (15 experts): 3 credits

3.3 Unused Credits

Unused credits at the end of a period are lost and non-transferable:

• Free plan: credits reset daily at midnight (UTC+1)
• CodirIA plans: credits reset on each monthly anniversary date
• Upon cancellation: remaining credits are forfeited at the end of the paid period

3.4 Fair Use Policy : Expert Plan

The Expert plan offers unlimited usage within the framework of normal professional use. Reasonable usage includes:

• Up to 30 full analyses per day
• Up to 200 expert briefs per day
• Use by a single identified user

Beyond these thresholds, access is automatically blocked until the next day (midnight UTC+1). Repeated overages may result in EvidencAI contacting the user to propose a suitable offer. Explicitly excluded from fair use: resale of access, automated use via scripts, and account sharing.

44. Registration and User Account

Access to the Service requires creating a user account with a valid email address. The user agrees to provide accurate information and to maintain the confidentiality of their login credentials. Any use of the account is presumed to be by the account holder. The Service is prohibited to persons under 16 years of age. By creating an account, the user certifies that they are at least 16 years old.

55. Use of the Service

5.1 Permitted Uses

The Service is intended for personal or professional decision support use. The user may analyze their conversations with generative AIs, obtain recommendations, and export their analyses.

5.2 Prohibited Uses

The following are strictly prohibited:

• Any attempt to circumvent technical or security limitations
• Use of robots, scripts, or automated tools to access the Service
• Account sharing or resale of access to the Service
• Use of the Service for illegal purposes or contrary to public order
• Any action likely to impair the operation of the Service

5.3 Responsibility Regarding Third-Party AI Services

CodirAI operates as an overlay on third-party artificial intelligence services (ChatGPT/OpenAI, Claude/Anthropic, Gemini/Google, Grok/xAI, Le Chat/Mistral). The user is solely responsible for:

• Compliance with the terms of use of these third-party services
• The compliance of their AI account (free or paid) with the provider's rules
• The content they submit to these services before analysis by CodirAI

EvidencAI disclaims all liability in the event of suspension, limitation, or closure of the user's third-party AI account, regardless of the cause.

66. Intellectual Property

All elements of the Service (software, algorithms, interfaces, content, trademarks, logos) are the exclusive property of EvidencAI or its partners and are protected by intellectual property law. The user retains ownership of their personal data and the content they submit to the Service. They grant EvidencAI a limited license to process this data solely for the purpose of providing the Service. Analyses and recommendations generated by CodirAI may be freely used by the user in the course of their activity.

77. Personal Data Protection

The processing of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, available at: https://www.codirai.com/privacy. In accordance with GDPR, the user has rights of access, rectification, erasure, portability and objection regarding their personal data. Data is hosted in France (Scaleway infrastructure, Paris, via self-hosted Supabase) and encrypted at rest and in transit.

88. Payment and Billing

Payments are processed securely by our provider Stripe, certified PCI-DSS Level 1. Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually depending on the option chosen. Prices are indicated in euros excluding VAT. Invoices are available in the customer area and sent by email.

99. Termination

Termination governs how user accounts and subscriptions may end and the resulting consequences.

9.1 Termination by the User

The user may cancel their subscription at any time from their customer area in a maximum of 3 clicks, in accordance with French Law No. 2022-1158 of August 16, 2022. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

9.2 Termination by EvidencAI

EvidencAI reserves the right to suspend or terminate an account in case of violation of these Terms, after formal notice that has remained without effect for 15 days, except in case of serious violation justifying immediate suspension.

9.3 Effects of Termination

Upon termination, the user automatically switches to the Free plan. Their data remains accessible for the duration provided by their former plan (30, 180 or 365 days as applicable), then is deleted. Unconsumed credits are permanently forfeited.

1010. Liability and Warranties

CodirAI is a decision support tool. The analyses and recommendations provided are suggestions based on artificial intelligence and do not constitute professional advice (legal, financial, medical or otherwise). The user remains solely responsible for their decisions and for the use they make of the analyses provided.

10.1 Nature of the Service

The analyses and recommendations provided are suggestions based on AI and do not constitute professional advice. The user is solely responsible for their decisions and use of the analyses.

10.2 Limitation of Liability

EvidencAI shall not be liable for indirect damages, data loss, lost profits, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service. EvidencAI's liability is limited to the amounts paid by the user during the last 12 months.

10.3 Availability

EvidencAI endeavors to ensure the availability of the Service but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Maintenance interruptions may occur, with prior notice where possible.

1111. Force Majeure

EvidencAI shall not be liable for failure to perform its obligations in case of force majeure, including but not limited to:

1212. Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with Articles L.221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, you have a period of 14 days from subscription to exercise your right of withdrawal, without having to justify reasons.

Express waiver of the right of withdrawal:

When subscribing to a paid plan, you must check a box indicating: "I request immediate execution of the Service and acknowledge waiving my right of withdrawal upon first use."

By checking this box, you expressly waive your right of withdrawal in accordance with Article L.221-28 of the French Consumer Code. This checkbox is mandatory to finalize the subscription and access the Service immediately.

1313. Mediation and Disputes

In the event of a dispute, the user may use the consumer mediation service free of charge.

1414. General Provisions

If any clause of these Terms is declared void, the other clauses shall remain applicable. The failure of EvidencAI to enforce any breach shall not constitute a waiver of its right to enforce it subsequently.

Service Evolution:

EvidencAI may modify the features of the Service at any time (adding, modifying or removing features, experts, interfaces). Users will be informed of major changes by email or in-app notification.
